School-alert concept · Not an emergency service
Explain the alert.
Define the responsibility.
Central Protocol Shooter Alert is being designed to help a child notify a parent, guardian or another trusted person during a school emergency. The concept combines a simple alert with an emergency voice message. Under the proposed design, recipients would be chosen and verified in advance.
Concept for review
A concept interface, not a live alert
The illustration is a design reference. No microphone, camera, location collection, alert recording or message delivery is active on this page. This website is not an emergency reporting channel.
People and permissions come first
Any future implementation would need age-appropriate safeguards, verified recipients, appropriate consent, school coordination, clear responder roles and a way to manage changes in permission. A family relationship alone would not authorize access to a child’s information.
Make failure visible
Before any real-world use, evaluation would need to address accidental or missed activations, inaccessible controls, connectivity loss, delays, false alerts and confusing status messages. An interface must not imply that help has been contacted or dispatched without verified evidence.
Development and readiness review
Design and feasibility work, controlled adult testing, and relevant independent review would precede any release decision. No functioning product, school partnership, safety guarantee or emergency service is offered through this prototype.
